Switch Recommends a Coding Career for You and Matches You to Courses

If you’re interested in a career in programming, Switch is a handy site that will not only suggest a job to go into based on your interests, but also match you to boot camps and other schools for that profession.

Answer eight questions, such as how much of your work you want to spend coding and whether you’re more interested in visuals or the technology, and Switch will show you a tech career that might be best for you—plus (free and paid) courses from over 120 schools you can take to get started.

You’ll get a brief overview of what the career entails and how much you’ll make, and can filter the suggested courses by a few locations as well as online-only.

It’s kind of like a Yelp for programming schools, according to founder Jonathan Lau. Even better than Yelp for food, though, Switch is guidance for your next move.
